My Hokkaido
I'd like to talk about my home town Hokkaido where I was born.
As everyone knows, speaking of Hokkaido, It's famous for Snow Festival, winter sports, Sapporo Ramen and things like that, different people like different things. However as for me, it's a little bit different in my mind. So that I'd like to talk about Jingiskan and Aynu people at this time,.
Jingiskan (grilled dish made with seasoned fresh mutton)
If someone asked me what your most favorite food is, I would respond straight off that is Jingiskan, absolutely I love it very much.
However it dosen't mean the ancient Mongolian ruler Genghis Khan though, the pronunciation sounds mostly like the same. It's a meal name you know. Jingiskan might be one of Japanese original cookings as for a kind of home BBQ party. Speaking of the origin of Jingiskan, actually a lot of cities argue their rightness as a groundbreaker of Jingiskan on the internet. However I'd like to raise my voice in here. Takikawa is the only one true pioneer of JIngiskan!! My sweat home town, Yeah! Jingiskan is a status symbol of the people of Takikawa. Hang in there!Image result for ジンギスカン
Well, Jingislan is really yummy meal. The ingredients of Jingiskan is of course fresh mutton, and the dipping sauce includes apple, ginger, onion, soy source in the main, and some secret spices that are not open for the public. When you have Jingiskan you should add some sliced onions and soy bean's sprout called Moyashi on it, because these vegetables make Jingiskan taste better and more juicy. The JIngiskan product is usually sold in a small plastic bag and you can buy it in some supermarkets. If you want to try to eat this awesome Jingiskan dipped in dripping secret sauce, you should prepare Jingiskan Pan, which is like mountain shaped uneven and have some mesh grooves on the surface. I recommend you to use this special pan. In addition, It's a little bit expensive for the people just like me.
Meal : approximately 1Kg 1,800 (Matsuo Jingiskan, Takikawa, Hokkaido)
Jingiskan pan : around \3,000 more and less
Aynu people
Ayne people are our earlier aborigines in Hokkaido. They might be called minority race in Japanese ilands. Their history was extremely tragec. In these days they have already been merged with us Japanese called Wajin at that time though, their descendants mostly still might live in Hokkaido as a Japanese people spoken Japanese.
In their history, they didn't have their own government, therefore they didn't have regular army, as a result Wajin took the whole Aynu nation and nowadays it is said even that no pure Aynu people may live in Japan.
It was said the Aynu people lived in the entire Hokkaido in the beginning, Tohoku region, in addition Sakhalin-Kuril islands located on the north-east far on(beyond) the sea of Hokkaido .
They didn't have written language ,so that we can't know about them well for now. The only way to know them may be the remained records about them written by Wajin and the foreigners like Russian who were related with them economically and military at that time.
Although as for me I'd like to feel familiar with their language and songs. Pirika menoko means a pretty girl in Aynu. According to the internet, my home town Takikawa seemed to be called like so-rapchi-putu in Aynu in the past, which means 'a river with messy falls'. Taki means fall, Kawa means river, so Takikawa might become Fallriver MA soon.
In fact the names of the city of Hokkaido mostly originated from Aynu language.
By the by in present days I would say It's pretty famous for Japanese people centered around Hokkaido who know that, the name's called ru-ibe ( ru-ipe correctly in Aynu) means frozen saved food during winter season.
Anyway, I love Aynu people. Its appearance its life style its purity its simple and honest disposition, I honestly respect to their ancients.
Karasuyama Castle

There was an old castle in Nasukarasuyama. At the time this region was named Shimo-tsuke province (means land), whose size was nearly the same as current Tochigi.
The last feudal load who lived in Karasuyama castle and ruled this country was Ohkubo clan (means kind of whole of a samurai family and vassals in this case).
According to the Meiji restoration(means establish a new Meiji government, but I feel sure it's a kind of revolution though), the castle was abandoned in 1869 in a couple years later of it. It was no way caused by our Krasuyama took sides with the old Tokugawa government structure, that's a head of samurai clan in Edo era.
In 1872 the San-no-maru palace (the third part of protective structure and building of the main castle) collapsed due to the weight of heavy snow.
In 1873 a fire swept through the remaining structures except for one gate. At present it has been kept as a personal property.

The site Shiroyama mountain is now a park covered by cedar trees, with some remaining mossy stone walls and outer moats. The magnificent wide shape of the Shiroyama mountain still reminds us the existence of the brave clan with long tradition.

Anxious about Japanese politics

I'd like to say, to Japanese politics, Sink one's differences for the sake of the common good. In Japanese 小異を捨てて大同につけ!
No more the fight for hegemony between political parties.
Take a broad view of the situation! We need results very soon.

It is a souvenir picture with a Hawaiian style.
Because do not hold a wedding ceremony; in substitute.

With my dear pen-pal Jeff as an ambassador Marimokkori in Hawaii at The Forest Gump.

It's a nice restaurant!

His girlfriend did the entertainment that was full of shrimps to us. It was very delicious.

In a receptionist meeting place, with all of the members to entry in The Lantern Floating.

The Diamond Head from the neighborhood of the event site.
I want to take it easy all day long here while watching this landscape.

This lantern is mine. A little girl pushed my lantern and carried it to the sea.

I wrote the name on the lantern in memory of late mother and a late uncle by Okinawa round. Say good bye to mother again while staring at the lantern. "We are cheerfully. So...". Tears overflowed naturally.

The ark which put love to several thousand families left for the distance of the sea.

Visiting to the Shinnyo-en Hawaii by the limousine taxi. OMG! Why limousine? We don't know why but when we asked a front desk of the hotel to call a taxi, wow limousine had come.
The driver said "not so expensive"

We rode a dachshund car and had an audience with King Kamehameha.

Hello Kame chan!
Hai cheese!

Night view from the hill of Tantalus.
My film technique is clumsy and does not understand splendor of the night view well.

After all the professional photography is good!
The meaning of the manual signature seems to be "aloha".
They say AlllllooooooooooHA!

The view under the window of the Gateway Hotel (western side of the hotel).
Today was a day to going to the swap meet in Aloha Stadium. It means a free market in Japan. We went to there by The Bus. One hour to arrival. Dog's breakfast was cold in The Bus.

Under the blue sky of the heat weather, people gathered out of nowhere. A lot of shops. As for my head, it was felt dizzy when we went around it around Aloha Stadium. My foot seems to have become a stick. The string of sandals rubbed between toes and came to have a pain in it.

Aloha Stadium

After shopping at Aloha Stadium we got back to Waikiki. Souvenir shopping at Ala Moana Center. As she said want to taste an icecream in the food court.. mmm crazy sweet!!

Today is the day going to Polynesian Cultural Center which is introduced by Jeff. In the morning, I went to running outside through the beach and the park. Around an hour. Many runners ran in a street and the Waikiki beach. Then we had a continental breakfast on the terrace of the top floor. Mango fruits, mango juice, some toasts, coffee that's all. After having breakfast we went around Ala Moana in the trolley-bus of the pink line through Waikiki. At noon, the shuttle bus came and we were picked up.
Toward the Polynesian Cultural Center. On the way to PCC, though we didn't do the request either, the guide dropped in at the souvenir shop without permission, and it was palmed off a black pearl bracelet.
While looking at a face of the mountain ranged strangely shaped rocks that the Jurassic Park was photographed.

First of all we were guided to the river side to see the Polynesian canoe show.

Next we watched a Samoan's funny talk & activity show. His talking was very funny, and everybody held his/her sides and laughed. This photograph broke a coconut by hand useing a former sharp stick.
Making fire by hand. Climbing coconut palm tree with bare hands.
After the show time we were introduced to the viking restaurant for dinner. PORT BEEF CHICKEN and several vegetables and soft drinks. Night show was like a spectacle theater.

Our long-awaited trip began. To Hawai'i from Tochigi.
It took about 3 hours by express bus from the Yanagida garage terminal to Narita Airport.
We took the supper lightly in Narita Airport.
mine wife's
I am a heavy smoker so I smoked so much in Narita before boarding an airplane. It was Delta DL646. Departure 21:15.
We were given meals 2 times in the airplane.

After about 7 hours we arrived at Honolulu Airport. Time was 9:15 am. We went directly to a hotel on the yellow shuttle bus. We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 but didn't check-in because it's too early to check-in so with a kindness of a front stuff we were able to take a rest in a hospitality room until the time 15:00 checked-in.
Got dog‐tired zzzzz.................. ↓Kappa-ebisen Korean Version
During a rest in the hospitality room I went to a ABC store and bought some foods beers and having it. Our room number was 1502. It was the second corner room of the 15th floor. The view from a window was the best.

We went to Kalakaua Ave. and walked the street aimlessly. There was somewhat large statue in front of the shop Channel & Coach. The high-quality brand shop does not have a relationship to a poor person.

We searched for the private beach of Sheraton Hotel after this. It was elegant and richly, but do not have much us.
On our way to a hotel, we took the supper in the Food Court of Royal Hawaiian Center lightly but, there is not the too delicious impression.

In the night, we got out to the park where is in front of the hotel, we walked hand in hand after a long absence. Cannot have it of 100% in Japan,; but is Hawai"i here. A sense of the time when we got to know revived.
